I am Ebra Elsharnouby, a passionate social science researcher. I like formulating the right questions and finding creative methods to investigate them. Opportunities for collaboration and growing with my team members excite me. Currently, I am a developmental psychology doctoral candidate at Clark University.

My Geographical Journey

I was born and raised in Turkey. Starting from the West, we had moved all around Turkey and lived in many cities as a family. My journey in Turkey ended in Istanbul for my college and higher education. Istanbul offered many opportunities to volunteer, do internships, and work as a researcher and project manager. I got the opportunity to start my doctoral degree at Clark University in Worcester, MA and steered into the United States to expand my horizon. Since falling in love with its beauty and generous community, I have been residing in the city of Providence, Rhode Island with my husband. You can spot me eating baklava at Aleppo’s Sweet, cycling through Blackstone Blouvard, and climbing at Rock Spot Climbing gym.
