My academic research focuses on close relationships, including women's relationships with their bodies, partners, families, God, and society; marital relationships; cross-sex friendships; and adolescents' relationships with their parents and peers.
I conduct culture and values-sensitive research, considering systemic structures and identities such as sex, gender, class, race/nationality, language, and geographical hierarchies. I use various methodologies and analytical approaches for my projects, and I enjoy collaborating with researchers on method design, data collection, and analysis.I have taken on administrative responsibilities such as lab management and assistant training as part of my researcher role.
Now, I've channeled this experience into UX research, where I apply my skills in method design, data collection, and analysis to understand and improve user experiences for small businesses. Ultimately, my goal as a UX researcher is to deeply understand the needs, motivations, and behaviors of users and to translate these insights into design recommendations that lead to improved user experiences. I am excited to continue my journey as a UX researcher, leveraging my background to create intuitive, user-centric designs for small businesses and beyond.
